This website runs on a server located in the European Union. When you visit it, server log files are processed automatically: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and referrer.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). These data are not merged with any other data source.

3. TLS/SSL encryption
This website is delivered exclusively over HTTPS, so everything you enter is transmitted in encrypted form.
4. Contact and cake pre-order forms
If you write to us using the contact form or the cake pre-order form, we process the details you provide solely in order to handle your enquiry.
The legal bases are Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR (your consent) and Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). The data are deleted once your enquiry has been settled, unless a statutory retention period applies.
5. Contact by phone or e-mail
If you call us or send us an e-mail, we use your details solely to answer your enquiry. The same purpose limitation applies as for the forms.
6. No analytics or advertising cookies
This website sets no tracking or marketing cookies. There is no web analytics, no advertising network, no Google Analytics and no social media pixel. Only a technically necessary entry for your chosen language may be stored.
7. Fonts
The fonts used are served locally from our own server. No connection is made to servers operated by Google or any other third party.
8. Maps
On the contact page a map is only embedded after you explicitly click (two-click solution). Before that, only a static notice is shown and no data is transmitted to the map provider. Your IP address and browser type are only sent to OpenStreetMap once you click.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may withdraw a consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for us, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
